Seamless processes from translation to publication
A huge variety of systems and programs are used for creating texts. Consequently, translation and localisation jobs have to be processed and published in a multitude of different formats. By using the very latest technology, we are able to edit and translate all the most commonly used file formats directly. Our seamless workflow greatly reduces costs and processing time, and the potential for errors.

Data from CMS and editing systems
If you are using content management systems or editing systems that are based on XML or SGML, it is vital that the data is prepared in such a way that the translated XML files are technically error-free, and that every type of DTD (document type definition) can be taken into account. We can process data in any standard system without errors and ensure the best possible workflow. Here’s a few examples:
- SCHEMA ST4
- Fischer Computertechnik (Tim RS)
- ASIM
- Author-it
- crossbase
- Docufy – Cosima
- Acolada – Sirius
- Noxum – Publishing Studio
- TYPO3

Tip: Different languages have different lengths. For example, a translation into French might be up to 25% longer than the same text translated into either German or English. This is why it is so important that you allow enough space in the final layout for translations when you create your source texts. The same applies to any compact format, such as screen displays, websites, control panels and user interfaces. Get in touch with our dedicated contact team if you need help modifying texts for software, websites and limited-length text fields.
