Political instability, gang violence and natural disasters have been shaking the country for years. This is where nph Kinderhilfe Lateinamerika e. V. has been providing important help for over 38 years. That is why we are, once again in 2025, supporting the efforts of the children&apos;s aid organisation in Haiti with our Christmas donation. Specifically, it is about school meals in the local nph schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-cHsvT6jMeS\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-font-body\">For more than 15 years, oneword has been a social partner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nph-kinderhilfe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nph Kinderhilfe Lateinamerika e. V.<\/a> and has supported the organisation on a voluntary basis with translation services and donations. Their commitment remains essential in Haiti in particular as many other organisations have stopped providing aid there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-VettNpbVH8\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-font-body\">Unfortunately, despite ongoing political instability, gang violence and a humanitarian emergency, Haiti receives little international attention and support. At the end of October Haiti was also hit by another hurricane, destroying large parts of the country and causing many people to lose their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-psCH1UfEMo\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text nectar-font-body\">Almost 70 percent of Haiti&#8217;s population suffer from inadequate nutrition and 47 percent even suffer from acute malnutrition. Of course, much more is needed to sustainably improve their situation.
