Andrea Modersohn and Andreas Meisner founded oneword GmbH in 2004 and have been running the company independently as owner-managers ever since. Having built itself up from scratch, oneword has continued to develop and has grown steadily, even during economically challenging times. Together, Andrea Modersohn and Andreas Meisner shape a corporate culture that stands for quality, reliability and long-term partnerships, and which actively utilises the opportunities presented by digital transformation.
Today, our team supports a broad client base across industry, the consumer goods sector, science, research and the public sector in their international communication.

How big is the oneword team?
Our in-house team comprises around 40 employees working in senior management, management and consulting, marketing and sales, human resources, and terminology and project management. We’re also supported in this by our office dogs, Luz and Freytag, who keep spirits high in the "Happiness & Security" department!
Our team is complemented by a large network of hand-picked freelance professional translators. Together, we cover a wide range of languages and domains, offering our clients the right expertise to meet a wide variety of requirements.
Where is oneword based?
oneword GmbH is based at Otto-Lilienthal-Straße 36, 71034 Böblingen, Germany. At the Böblingen/Sindelfingen Software Centre, our team has access to modern, light-filled office space covering more than 500 m². Thanks to the excellent transport links, our location in the greater Stuttgart area is easily accessible.
